Monkey Sport Bars 101:

Here are a few details you’ll ONLY find with our Original Monkey Bars.

Width: Our bars a several inches narrower than the other because we utilize a more labor-intensive process of assembling the grip post areas. Swedging is cheaper, but it adds 2” of width to each side of the bar!

Natural Grip Angle: Our bars were painstakingly engineered to provide a natural, relaxed grip angle. They don’t force your hand or wrists into an uncomfortable position. Non-riders would never think of this.

Adjustability: Our bars are designed to allow maximum rotation regarding your hand control positioning.  Everyone has a different taste and comfort zone here, so it’s important to be able to put em’ where you want em’!

Pull Back: Our bars are specifically designed to provide excellent pullback if so desired for optimum back comfort. For instance, our Monkey Sport Bars provide 9” of pullback with our exclusive arched upright design.

Ease of Installation: Our bars are engineered to be a direct bolt-on replacement bar! We also offer a complete line of cables, bushings, Super Clamps, wiring, and complete install instructions.

Performance Baggers are all the rage.  Paul wanted to create a drag-style Monkey Bar that offered both aggressive performance styling and incredible comfort for long-distance hauls.  He wanted a lower hand position for pushing through the canyons that also doesn’t make you reach too far forward.  Our Monkey Sport Bars provide on all levels and give your Bagger instant attitude adjustment!  While they were designed for Road Glides^® & Road Kings^®, however, they fit on just about any OEM Harley model out there!  Paul loves them on his FXR’s!

Each bar is factory-slotted for internal wiring. Bagger Nation’s exclusive internal finishing process smooths the inside corners of our bars so wires can be fed through easily.  They are notched for the Fly-By-Wire throttle system found on 2008 and later models.

Bagger Nation offers our Monkey Sport Bars in brilliant chrome or gloss black powder coat finish.

NOTE: WILL NOT FIT 2023 – Present Next Gen Road Glides

NOTE: For 2015 & Later, you will also need our “Fairing Drop Block Kit” to prevent your controls from contacting your fairing.

NOTE: 2015 and later Road Glide^® Ultras & CVO Road Glides^® will require the purchase of the standard control clamps from your H-D Dealer.  The part numbers for the H-D Clutch Lever & Brake Lever Clamps are as follows:

NOTE:  Bagger Nation STRONGLY recommends installing our 1-piece Super Riser Clamp on ANY handlebar install!  Failure to use a one-piece clamp when installing Monkey Bars will VOID the Bagger Nation warranty.
